ABOUT JEREMY Q. HENRY
Jeremy Q. Henry a native of Valdosta, GA was “called” to live a different lifestyle at a young age.
At the age of 15, Jeremy would often be found in the living room of Mother Rumae Garland. Through her guidance, Jeremy received the filling of the Holy Ghost and his life was changed forever.
In 2007, at the age of 17, Jeremy answered the call to Gospel ministry and on August 29, 2009, Jeremy preached his first sermon at the Serenity Christian Church.
He received his ministerial training under the leadership of his mentors— Dr. Kendrick J. Gardner Sr., Pastor of Mount Zion Baptist Church, Lakeland FL; Alfred A Miller, Pastor of Prayer Garden Church of God in Christ, Homerville, GA; Reverend Floyd E. Rose, Pastor of Serenity Christian Church, Valdosta, GA; Lawrence E. Carter, Sr., Dean of the Martin Luther King Jr. International Chapel, Atlanta, Ga; Dr. Aaron L Parker, Pastor of Zion Hill Baptist Church, Atlanta, Ga and The Bishop Sedgwick Daniels, General Board Member of the Church of God in Chirst and Pastor of Holy Redeemer Institutional Church of God in Christ Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It was under each of his mentors' teachings that Jeremy's spirituality began to be shaped holistically.
Jeremy is an accomplished musician, singer, has served as President of the Local Youth NACCP of Valdosta Ga, and is a recipient of the distinguished Teen Volunteer of The Year Award for the State Nursing Homes of Georgia in 2009. He has also served as a youth advisor to many leaders in political office.
He is an alums of the Prestigious Morehouse College and is now pursuing his Master of Divinity at Princeton theological seminary in Princeton, New Jersey. Aside from that He has shared the stage with Gospel music's best, yet remains a humble child of God and a servant to all mankind.
Jeremy’s favorite quote is:
"What will matter is not what you bought, but what you built; not what you got, but what you gave. What will matter is not your success, but your significance. What will matter is not what you learned, but what you taught. What will matter is every act of integrity, compassion, courage or sacrifice that enriched, empowered or encouraged others to emulate your example.”
